Cécile Le Prado
Cecile Le Prado leads together music composition, research and teaching activities.
Composer coming from electro acoustic music, she is particularly interested in sound space, urban soundscapes and active immersion for visitors. She is the author of many musical pieces and sound installations. As a researcher in music composition, she worked with the INA-GRM (Musical Group Research The National Audiovisual Institute) and IRCAM (Institute for Research and Creation Acoustics and Music). She is now a member of the computer science laboratory of the CNAM (CEDRIC). She leads in the ILJ group (Interface to read and play) a research team working on interactive sound design.
Associated professor at CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts), Cecile Le Prado is in charge of the specialty “Sound Design” from the Graduate School of Games and Interactive Media (Enjmin).
Cecile Le Prado got her degree in Electro Acoustic Composition (Conservatoire de Nantes), Master in game and interactive media (CNAM) and Phd in computer science (CNAM).
